ACTIVITIES IN LIÉBANA

Vía ferrata

Via ferratas are sports itineraries equipped with steps and cables, in such a way that they allow the ascent safely, to areas of difficult access, to people not accustomed to climbing.
The Vía Ferrata La Hermida is located in the municipality of La Hermida on the route to Potes.
The Camaleño Via Ferrata in the town of Los Llanos on the way to Fuente Dé.

Horse trails

On horseback routes through Potes we will have the opportunity to walk around the Picos de Europa, specifically the eastern or Ándara massif.
Depending on the route, you can cross lush forests, villages full of tradition and culture, or climb the highest peaks to enjoy the best views of the Picos de Europa.
Horses will make us feel integrated into nature, since it is a silent and non-aggressive means of transport.
Different types of routes are offered depending on time, level of difficulty, age... All routes are guided.

Jubilee year pilgrimage

The Lebaniego Jubilee Year is a religious celebration that takes place in the region of Cantabria, around the monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana. This event takes place every time April 16, the day of Saint Toribio de Astorga, falls on a Sunday, which occurs approximately every time the year is a multiple of 6. During the Jubilee Year.
